Kimberlee Marie Paddock, 13, of Shelby, Nebraska, died Sunday, January 14, 2018, at the Genoa Community Hospital, Genoa, Nebraska, as a result of a hunting accident.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 20, at 10:00 AM at Peace Lutheran Church in Columbus, Nebraska with Rev. Cory Burma officiating. Interment will be in the Shelby Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home and continue on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are suggested to the family. There will be a gathering at the American Legion in Shelby after the burial.

Kimberlee "Kimmee" Marie Paddock was born November 13, 2004, in Osceola, Nebraska, to Scott and Mary (Nunez) Paddock. She was currently in the Seventh Grade at Shelby/Rising City Public Schools where she was active in sports and was a good student. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling, camping, and Raiders Football. Kimmee enjoyed reading "historical fiction", being an aunt, and was a friend to all.

Grandmother – Anita (Keith) Smith of Wellston, OK
