William "Bill" Hollendieck, 87, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Nye Pointe in Fremont, Nebraska.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24, at 10:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus, with Rev. Patrick Sparling officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home and continue Friday, from 9:00 AM until service time at the church. There will be a family prayer service at 9:45 AM, on Friday, at the church. Interment will be in Creston Fairview Cemetery. William Robert Hollendieck was born on May 1, 1937, in Bazile Mills, Nebraska, to William and Lucille (Davids) Hollendieck. He attended school in Crofton, Nebraska. On November 4, 1962, Bill was united in marriage to Elaine Mavis. After Elaine's death in 2014, Bill married Edna Eisenmann on April 1, 2018.

Bill drove a milk route in the Norfolk area and later worked as a welder in Oklahoma. He worked at Behlen Manufacturing in Columbus for 28 years until his retirement. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, and going to the casino.
