Virginia was born December 27, 1950, in Humphrey, Nebraska, to Frank and Virginia (Connelly) Jarecki. She graduated from Genoa High School in 1969. On October 3, 1970, Virginia was united in marriage to David Cremers at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Genoa. Four sons were born to that marriage: Scott, Brian, Justin, and Michael. Virginia worked as a cook at Genoa Public School for 25+ years, and as the head cook for many of those years.
Family and friends were an important part of Virginia's life. Through special occasions, family get togethers, holidays, camping trips, and other travels, she surrounded herself with those she loved. She especially looked forward to the special trips she took with her sisters. Virginia loved her children and grandchildren and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. After raising four boys, she was finally blessed with granddaughters, who she loved to spend time with and spoil. Her grandsons also meant the world to her and were spoiled by her too. She had a special connection with all her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She beamed with pride as she talked about them and watched them participate in their various activities.
