Vern Olson, 66, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Private family interment was held in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Columbus, Nebraska.

Vern was born April 22, 1958, in Little Falls, Minnesota, to Howard and Anita (Loseke) Olson.  He graduated from Lakeview High School in Columbus, Nebraska, and Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska, where he studied electronic servicing.  He later studied at Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma City.  Vern was a very intelligent and private individual, working as an aircraft maintenance technician, and teaching class part time while living in Oklahoma.  After losing most of his possessions in an Oklahoma fire, Vern had purchased ground in Nebraska, to move to, but his health failed him, and he was never able to move back to Nebraska to be near family.  He had a "dry" sense of humor and enjoyed social media.
