Toby Ausbun, 58, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Thursday, February 22, 2024, at his home in Columbus.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Toby Le Ausbun was born on July 27, 1965, in Central City, Nebraska. He grew up there and graduated from Central City High School in 1983. On Memorial Day weekend of 1991, Toby was in a car accident that left him a quadriplegic. He has lived in Columbus for many years. He was a big sports fan, especially football and baseball as he faithfully tuned in to the Chicago Cubs' games. He also enjoyed music; Nickelback was his favorite band and he loved going to concerts. Toby also enjoyed going to cookouts and hanging out with his friends.
