Tim was born on August 7, 1949, to John and Ellen (Foley) Rollman in Humphrey, Nebraska. He came from humble beginnings and worked hard to become a successful farmer and cattle feeder while always being grounded by his faith and devoted to his wife and family. After attending Humphrey St. Francis High School, he enlisted in the Army and honorably served in Vietnam as a heavy equipment operator.
Tim returned to Humphrey and married Margery Gronenthal on May 6, 1972. He started a farm southeast of Madison where he and Margery raised their five children. Tim was a lifelong nature lover, loved bird watching and was proud to have a bird house full of Purple Martins outside his home. Later in life, two of Tim’s favorite things were taking his grandchildren fishing and attending their events. He also enjoyed traveling with Margery to their children’s homes both near and far. Tim was a lifelong member of the VFW, the American Legion and Knights of Columbus.
Tim is survived by his wife, Margery of Humphrey; children, Linda (Tim) Aschoff of Lincoln, Eric (Rachel) Rollman of Peyton, CO, Amy (Jarrod) Olson of Riverside, CA, Paul Rollman of Bellevue, and Susan (Zack) Lindsley of Humphrey; grandchildren, Audrey (Mitchell) Dankenbring, Jillian, Ryan, and Nick Aschoff; Peyton, Rhylee, Grant, Nickson, Madison, and Raegan Rollman, Eamon, Felicity, and Moses Olson; Maive, Hattie, and Nyle Lindsley. His siblings, Wilfred (Barbara) Rollman, Mary (Tom) McGuire, Margaret (Lew) Dennis, Kate (Tony) Sorrentino; brother-in-law Jim Seward, and sister-in-law Carol Withrow. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
