Thaddeus "Ted" Rosenthal, 88, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Friday, January 31, 2025, at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, on Monday, February 3, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Tarnov, Nebraska, with Father Stan Schmit celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 4:00 PM, at the church. Visitation will continue Monday, from 9:30 AM until service time, at the church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Michael's Historical Society.

Ted was born July 2, 1936, on the family farm in Platte County, Nebraska, to Thomas and Cecilia (Syslo) Rosenthal.  He attended St. Michael's Catholic School and on June 27, 1964, was united in marriage to Mary Jane Suva in Dodge, Nebraska.  The couple made their home on a farm west of Tarnov.  To this union four children were born: Randy, Scott, Donna, and Ryan.  Ted was an excellent farmer and steward of the land.  He enjoyed playing cards, traveling and playing in the Red Headed Bavarian Band with his brothers Tom, Ed, and Gerry.  Ted and Mary Jane wintered in Arizona.  They enjoyed traveling to Europe as well as the western states. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Tarnov.  Ted was proud of his children and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren
