Terry (Mrs. Carl) Brunken, 75, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Emerald Care & Rehab of Columbus.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at North Park Church in Columbus, with Pastor Lyn Hansen officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until service time on Thursday, also at the church.  Private family interment will be held in Shell Creek Baptist Cemetery, rural Columbus.

Terry was born September 1, 1948, in Grand Island, Nebraska, daughter of Clarence and Dorothy (Tripe) Kohtz.  She graduated from Hampton High School, Hampton, Nebraska.  On April 2, 1983, Terry was united in marriage to Carl Brunken in Central City, Nebraska.  Terry was a stay at home mom, then worked at Appleton Electric until her retirement.  She enjoyed bowling, cooking, watching her soap operas, looking at pictures sent to her from friends and family members, joking around, and watching Monday-Wednesday-Friday night wrestling.  She was a member of North Park Church.
