Shirley Liakos, 91, formerly of Bayard, Nebraska, died Thursday, May 19, 2022, at her home in Columbus.

Services will be held at a later date in Bayard.

Shirley Liakos was born on November 9, 1930, in Mitchell, Nebraska, to George and Elizabeth (Johannes) Schneider. She graduated from Bayard High School in 1949. On April 26, 1953, Shirley was united in marriage to Constantine "Gus" Liakos. Shirley was a homemaker who dearly loved to spend time with her family.
