Shane T Fedde

Shane Fedde, 51, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Friday, April 3, 2026, at Columbus Community Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, April 10, at Gass Haney Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Cool officiating. A visitation and time to share memories with family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, following the Memorial Service.

Shane was born January 26, 1975, in Fremont, Nebraska to Thomas and Roylene (McDonald) Fedde. Shane grew up in Fremont and Columbus, graduating from Columbus High School in 1994. He worked at Vishay right out of high school before becoming a car salesman with Ernst Auto. He then worked at Linweld, before starting at Schwan’s. There, Shane was able to use his gift for selling and become a Top 10 salesman with the company. After the Schuyler depot closed, he then moved on to work at BD’s and Flexcon.

On April 9, 2005, Shane was united in marriage to Tina Kelly. To this union two children were born, Carter and Kaylie, whom he loved dearly.

Shane enjoyed Nebraska Football and playing pool. He also had a love for demolition derby. Because of this, people knew him as Mr. Imperial. Another hobby he enjoyed was horseshoes, which his dad introduced him to. Shane’s favorite holiday was the Fourth of July. You would always find him lighting off the loudest fireworks he could find.

Brother – Troy (Heather) Fedde of Buckeye, AZ
Niece and Nephew – Hannah & Hunter Fedde
Father & Mother-in-law – Randy and Patty Kelly of Shelby, NE
Numerous other family and friends
