Sandrya Lee Badura, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, at Bryan West in Lincoln, Nebraska. Born on May 28, 1941, in Taylor, Nebraska, Sandra was the cherished daughter of Eldon and Evelyne (Bisher) Dent.
Sandrya was a devoted wife to her late husband, Robert Lee Badura, with whom she shared 38 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a legacy of love and family that continues to thrive through their six children: Anthony (Kristen) Badura, David (Kris) Badura, Timothy (Michelle) Badura, Tamra (Bruce) Westerbuhr, Dana (Jim) Roberts, and Denise (Doug) Lierz.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to her eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. Sandrya was also a loving sister to her eight surviving siblings: Richard (Bette) Dent, Katherine Stacey, Bill Dent, Teresa (Mike) Cordes, Randy (Sherry) Dent, Michael (Peg) Dent, Deb (Mike) Campbell, and Chris (Bubba) Dierberger.
She is fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, all of whom she adored.
Preceding Sandrya in death are her parents, Eldon and Evelyne Dent; her brothers, Bob and Gary Dent; her husband, Robert Lee Badura; and her grandson, Alexander Badura.
Sandrya's life was defined by her unwavering love for her family, her kind and gentle spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel special. Her memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew and loved her.
A private family service will be held on April 5, 2025 at Valley View Cemetery in Genoa, Nebraska. A celebration of Sandrya's life will be held at 2 pm on April the 5th, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Columbus, Nebraska. A late lunch will be provided.
