Ronald "Ron" Stearns, 63, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in Columbus.

A gathering celebrating Ron's life is being planned for this summer.

Ron was born on September 27, 1961, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Robert and Rose (Gerritzen) Stearns.  Ron grew up in Schuyler, Nebraska, and graduated from Schuyler High School in 1979. During the course of his working career, he held jobs at Douglas and Lomason (Camaco), Becton Dickinson, and Family Dollar, among others.

Ron always had a great love for animals.  His loyal dog Lexi was his love and trusted companion.
