Ronald G. Lane, 71, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Emerald Care & Rehab of Columbus.

A memorial service will be held on June 14th at 11:00 AM at the Outreach Center of the Methodist Church.  Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Bruning, Nebraska.  The service will be live streamed on Gass Haney Funeral Home's Facebook page at https://www.gasshaney.com/obituary/ronald-lane

Ron was born August 13, 1953, in York, Nebraska, to Marvin and JoAnn (Williamsen) Lane.  After his parents divorced and his mother remarried, Ron grew up near Bruning, Nebraska.  As a youth, Ron was in the Boy Scouts for 7 years.  He enjoyed fishing, word search puzzles, listening to country music, painting by number and being outdoors.  He worked at the New World Inn for several years.

Granddaughters – Courtney and Searra
Half Brother – Rick (Michelle) Reinsch
Half Sister – Rebecca (Mark) Glad
Half Sister – Renee Reinsch
