Roger Streblow

Roger Streblow, 60 of rural Humphrey, Nebraska, died Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at his home after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 14 at 10:30 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, LCMS, rural Columbus, with Rev. Kyle Fittje officiating.  Interment will be in the Humphrey City Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Monday from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM and continue on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until service time, all at St. John's Lutheran Church.  There will be a family prayer service on Tuesday at 10:15 AM, also at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the wishes of the family or donor's choice.

Roger was born January 12, 1966, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Richard and Doris (Schostak) Streblow.  He was raised on the family farm between Tarnov and Humphrey, along with his siblings - Randy, Russell, Jolene and Judy.  He attended Humphrey Public Schools, graduating from Humphrey High School in 1984.  On October 15, 1988, Roger was united in marriage to Debra Cudaback, at St. John's Lutheran Church.  The couple lived on the family farm where Roger grew up.  

Roger farmed, worked for Goering Construction and later Jarosz Construction.  He was a hard working man who did not know when to quit, or how to say no to anyone in need.  Roger was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  He had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying trapping, hunting, and fishing.
