Richard "Allen" Louis, formerly of Genoa, died Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, NE.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Genoa, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 9:00AM until 10:30 AM, also on Friday, at the church prior to the service. Interment will be at Valley View Cemetery in Genoa.

Richard Allen Louis was born on October 27, 1935, to Richard and Emma (Crna) in Columbus, Nebraska. Allen graduated from Genoa High School. Allen lived most of his life in Cornlea, Nebraska.
Allen served his country in the United States Air Force for six years following high school during the Korean War. Allen was a Medical Services Specialist. During his military service he received a Good Conduct medal and Air Force longevity Service Award with two bronze oak leaf clusters. Allen spent most of his working years at Noonan Equipment, and later at Pillen Family Farms.
On April 25, 2009, Allen was united in marriage to Lois Preister in Columbus, Nebraska. Following their marriage Allen and Lois lived in Genoa. Allen was a simple man that found pleasure in taking drives with Lois, fishing, and playing cards.

Sister – Roseann (Bill) Wehrbein
Step – Children Larry Preister, Bob (Jody) Preister, Janice (Chuck) Zach, Donna Olmer, Denise (Doug) Stevenson, Ron (Ronnette) Preister, Dale (Michelle) Preister, Janelle Preister (Kandie Fiala)
Step- Grandchildren and Step- Great Grandchildren
