Regina Hogendorn, 89, of Leigh, Nebraska, died Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the Columbus Community Hospital. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 21, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Leigh with Father Dan Wittrock celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 9:00 AM until service time, also at the church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. 

Regina A. Hogendorn was born on July 22, 1936, in Leigh, to Peter and Mary (Kasik) Hogendorn. She graduated from Leigh High School and attended college. She worked as a secretary in the Agronomy department at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln for many years. Upon her retirement, Regina moved back to the family farm near Leigh. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and her animals on the farm.
