Paul Mohr, Jr.,  58, of rural Creston, Nebraska, died Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at his home.

Private family interment will be held.

Paul W. Mohr Jr. was born on August 1, 1965, to Paul and Katherine Mohr in Omaha, Nebraska. On November 1, 1986, Paul married Jill Hopkins in Columbus, Nebraska. Paul was a machinist at Orion during his working career.

One of Paul's greatest accomplishments was being a father. He was always there for his children, Jacob P. Mohr and Amber K. Mohr. He was their soccer coach growing up in which they won three championships. He was a very active man. He would take his kids for runs at the park, listen to old school rock on their car rides, and was at every event their children had, whether it be soccer, gymnastics, etc.

Paul was also a loving husband to his late wife Jill Marie Mohr, who passed away on Dec. 1, 2019. They lived in Columbus for most of their lives but felt something was missing. So, they went out of their way and found a nice farm to call "HOME". They raised cows, horses, donkeys, ducks, pheasants, goats, guineas, turkeys, peacocks, and Paul's favorite: CHICKENS. Every time he opened his chicken shed, he would holler "How are my babies?", and they would all come running to greet him. He loved them so much that every night he would count all his chickens, which were at least 100, to make sure they were all there before closing that shed for the night. Their goal was for their grandchildren Emma Jayne (8), Jayce Genesis (7), Klohie Josephine (7), and Allison Grace (5) to enjoy the farm and learn how to raise animals.

He also loved his country and became a United States Marine. He will be greatly missed. A great husband, father, and grandfather (grandpa). Rest in peace Paul W. Mohr Jr.

Paul is survived by his son, Jacob Mohr; daughter Amber Mohr; grandchildren Emma, Jayce, Klohie, and Allison; parents Paul and Katherine Mohr; and his brothers, Robert Mohr and Michael Mohr.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Jill, his grandparents, brothers-in-law, Jess Hopkins, James Hopkins, and sister-in-law, Jane Kiser.
