Patrick Ewert, 59, of Bellwood, Nebraska, died Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Butler County Health Care Center in David City, Nebraska.
A memorial service will be held on June 1, 2024, at 10:30 AM, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus with Rev. Patrick Sparling officiating. Interment will be in the Bellwood Cemetery, Bellwood, Nebraska. Visitation will be on May 31, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home, and continue June 1 from 9:30 AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, stones, plants, etc., memorials are suggested to the church or family choice.
Patrick C. Ewert was born May 27, 1964, in David City, Nebraska, to Clarence and Norma (Langhorst) Ewert. He was a baptized and confirmed member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Patrick graduated from David City High School in 1982 and Lincoln Southeast Community College in 1991, where he studied small engine repair. Patrick was engaged in farming, worked at Torin Manufacturing, Fleischer Manufacturing, and Tenneco in Seward. He loved hunting and classic cars, as well as motorcycles. Patrick was a true Husker fan and enjoyed being with his nieces and nephews and cousins.
