Patricia "Pat" Fowler, 85, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Monday, March 17, 2025, at Emerald Nursing & Rehab in Columbus.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, March 24 at 10:30 AM at First United Methodist Church in Columbus with Rev. Keunsik Lee officiating.  Visitation will be on Monday from 9:30 AM until service time at the church.  Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Columbus. Patricia Joyce Fowler was born on July 31, 1939 to Paul and Della Mae (Hudnall) Lombard in Valley County, Nebraska.  Pat graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School.  She earned her degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University.  Pat married Don Fowler on June 16, 1963 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Pat taught school for one year in Davenport, Nebraska, and then taught kindergarten in Columbus until the birth of her children.  Pat stayed at home raising her family and then was a teacher's aide for over twenty years in Columbus Public Schools.

Pat was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed square dancing, singing, quilting, camping, crafts, was an award-winning photographer, member of the Methodist NOMADS, and was very involved  with Nebraska Cooperative Extension, 4-H, and Midwest Mission Distribution Center.

Great Grandson - Keanu McCullough-Taylor of Lincoln, NE
Brother – Tom (Theresa) Lombard of Crete, NE
Sister – Janice (George) Ross of Jacksonville, NC
Sister – Shirley A. Driscoll of Winchester, VA
