Funeral services for Nathan Johnson, 30, of Columbus, Nebraska will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at St. Luke's UCC with Rev. Adam Lassen officiating.  Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home and continue on Monday from 1:00 PM until service time at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the wishes of the family.

Nathan was born on January 30th, 1994, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Dale "Avery" & Tami (Hamling) Johnson. He graduated from David City Public School in 2012. Nathan worked most of his life at the family gravel company as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and shooting pool. He showed horses in 4-H for many years, receiving many purple ribbons.

Growing up some of his favorite things to do was spending time with his siblings, riding ATVs, and tinkering with electronics or anything mechanical. Nathan was always an animal lover and almost always had a dog by his side. He was so proud of himself after getting baptized about five years ago. Nathan was very loved by family and friends. He will be very missed and always remembered.
