Michael Minturn, 63, of Genoa, Nebraska, died Thursday, February 6, 2025, at his home in Genoa.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 15 at 2:00 PM at Ramaekers Patrick Funeral Chapel with Pastor Connie Kramer officiating, followed by a celebration gathering at Rock's Bar in Genoa from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Mike was born December 31, 1961, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Bernard and Beverly (Francis) Minturn.  He attended Genoa Public School, graduating in 1980.  Mike enlisted in the United States Navy, seeing various countries which was a great enjoyment to him.  After the Navy, he attended Wayne State College where he received a degree in Drafting.  Mike worked at Crafts, Inc. in Norfolk, ran his own construction company and finished out his working years at Flex Con as a coater/operator retiring in 2020.

Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing and at one time was an avid golfer.  Mike was a premier sports fan and a super Kansas City Chiefs fan.  He was looking forward to watching the Super Bowl this year.  Mike loved traveling and was always up for a new adventure.

Nephew - Adam Ackerson of Poynette, WI
Niece - Ashley (Andy) Hirsch of Norwalk, IA
Special Friend - Amy Zarek of Genoa, NE
