Mary Ann Lehr, 89, of Columbus, Nebraska (formerly of Duncan, Nebraska) died Friday, August 21, 2026, at Genoa LTC, Genoa, Nebraska.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus with Rev. Bill Mattfeld officiating. Interment will be in Jackson Cemetery, Duncan. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:30 AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, stones, etc., memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Duncan Fire and Rescue Department.

Mary Ann Lehr was born July 24, 1937, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Fred and Martha (Trofholz) Speck. She graduated from Kramer High School where she was a majorette in the band. On September 7, 1955, was united in marriage to John Lehr. To this union two children were born, John and Kathy. After the children were raised, Mary Ann worked in the cafeteria at Columbus High School. She enjoyed doing word searches, Husker sports, bowling, bingo, going to horse races and casinos. Mary Ann treasured all the special poems she would receive from John in the Valentine cards he would get her every year. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Brother-in-law – Wm “Bill” (Sharon) Lehr of Columbus, NE
Sister-in-law – Sharon Lehr of Oldsmar, FL
