Margaret Jane "Peggy" Speicher, 66, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Gass Haney Funeral Home with Denny Reis officiating.  The family will begin greeting friends at 1:00 PM on Sunday, at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to those of the donor or family choice.

After 66 years of living life to the fullest Peggy Speicher decided to, probably begrudgingly, it was time to saddle up and head on down the highway.

Peggy was born July 5th, 1958, in Columbus, NE, to Royal and Alice Jean (Frohner) Chestnut. She was the only child. She attended North Park Grade School and then graduated from Columbus High School in 1976. She entered into marriage with Ambrose (Andy) Speicher in 1978. She attended AIMS Community College in Greeley, Colorado, where she got her Landscaping Degree.

Peggy was involved with different organizations during her lifetime. H.O.G (Harley Owners Group), ABATE, Lions Club, Order of Eastern Star, Job's Daughters, VFW Jr. Auxiliary & American Legion Auxiliary. Volunteering her time with Skilled USA, Girl Scouts and Poker Runs. She was in different Leagues like Bowling, Darts and Pool. Her favorite past time was Scrapbooking. Her favorite job was working at Harley Davidson Sales in Columbus, NE where she made many lifelong friends.

Daughter - Kelda Klosner of Shelby, NE
Grandson - Jaxson Cole
Granddaughter - Danika Klosner
Grandson - Lennon Klosner
Daughter - AnnaMarie Speicher of Colorado
Special Friend - John (Chip) Stroble
Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many many friends.
