Lynn D. Geier, 64, of Norfolk, Nebraska, died Friday, October 31, 2025, in Norfolk, Nebraska.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at Calvary Cemetery, rural Columbus with Rev. Cory Burma officiating.  There will be no visitation.

Lynn Donald Geier was born March 7, 1961, in Alliance, Nebraska, and grew up on a farm near Columbus, Nebraska. The adopted son of Donald and Lucille (Runge) Geier. He lived in Columbus, Lincoln, and Norfolk, Nebraska, where he died October 31, 2025 after a prolonged illness.

Lynn was active in 4-H and FFA and proud of the awards he won at local and statewide livestock shows during his teenage years. He graduated from Lakeview High School in 1981 and worked on the family farm for several years. Lynn was also employed by B & W Manufacturing.

Lynn was a talented card player, skilled in shuffling and dealing games of pitch, sheepshead and spades.

Lynn is survived by his sister Debbie Levey, niece Lindsey (Aaron) Long, grand niece Ashlyn Long and grand nephews Hunter and Gage Long, and nephew Dylan Geier.

Lynn was preceded in death by parents Donald and Lucille Geier, grandparents George and Violet (Curtis) Geier and Arthur and Alma (Schreiber) Runge, brother-in-law Earl "Ray" Levey, and nephew Dustin Geier.
