Lynn Rae Blaser, 86, of Columbus, Nebraska, died at his home in Columbus.

A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 12 at 11:00 AM at the Gruetli Cemetery, south of Monroe, Nebraska, with Rev. Adam Lassen officiating.  Family and friends are invited to gather at St. Luke's UCC fellowship hall in Columbus for lunch after the service at the cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Luke's UCC.

Lynn was born March 26, 1940, in Genoa, Nebraska, to Quentin and Margaret (Van Allen) Blaser.  He graduated from Monroe High School and began farming in the Duncan area.  Lynn also drove delivery truck for Mead Lumber for several years.  He was a member of St. Luke's UCC.  Lynn enjoyed watching car and tractor auctions, driving around the countryside, and going on bus travel trips meeting new people, and touring all states except for Hawaii.  Lynn was united in marriage to Sophia (Czarnik) Cheloha on September 22, 1995.
