Lynda Hellbusch, 78, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Columbus Community Hospital.

A private family service will be held with interment in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery.

Lynda Rae Hellbusch was born on November 28, 1947, near Madison, Nebraska to Oscar and LaRoyce (Marr) Holmberg. She grew up in Madison and graduated from Madison High School in 1966. She worked at Dale Electronics in Norfolk and later in Columbus, before going to work at Behlen Manufacturing for over 20 years.

Lynda was united in marriage to Gary Hellbusch on October 2, 1976, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus. Lynda enjoyed going to the casinos and horse racing. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, tending her flowers and her poodles.

Sister-in-law: Patty Holmberg of Schuyler, NE
