Ken Holland, 77, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away Saturday June 1, 2024, at Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln surrounded by loved ones and passed peacefully.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June6th at 2:00 PM at Roper and Sons Funeral Home on O Street in Lincoln.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM, also at the funeral home in Lincoln.  Graveside military honors in Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln, will follow the service on Thursday.

Ken was born on February 26, 1947, in Lincoln, the first born of Dr. Kenneth and Naomi (Wagner) Holland, Sr.   He grew up in Lincoln with his parents, brother John, and sister Jane.  Upon graduation from high school, he attended the University of Nebraska School of Dentistry.  He then took a commission in the United States Navy as a Dental Officer, proudly serving his country for 18 years and reaching the rank of Commander.

Ken followed in his father's footsteps and became an Orthodontist and specialized in Temporomandibular Joint Disorders.  He practiced in Lincoln, Columbus, Norfolk, Albion, and David City, Nebraska, before moving his family to Arizona.  There he continued to see patients until finally retiring in 2015 to move back to Columbus to be closer to family and help care for his grandchildren.

Daughter:  Clavel Holland-Williams, grandchildren Malorie, Sebastian, Bailey, and Sean of Arizona and Nebraska
Son: William Holland of Lincoln
Daughter: Tamar (Justin) Brandenburgh-Noble, grandchildren Phillip and Benjamin of Bellwood
Brother: John (Carole) Holland
Sister: Jane (Bill) Hutchinson
