Kenneth Brandl, 87, of Humphrey, Nebraska, died Sunday, December 17, 2023, at his home in Humphrey.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 22, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey with Father Matt Gutowski celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM, and continue Friday, from 9:00 AM until service time, all at the church. Interment will be in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Lindsay, Nebraska, with military honors. Memorials are suggested to those of the donor or family wishes.
Kenneth Brandl was born April 16, 1936, in Cornlea, Nebraska, to Joe and Mercedes (Deegan) Brandl. He attended Sacred Heart School. On September 27, 1955, Ken entered the United States Army. He was honorably discharged on June 28, 1957. On April 19, 1958, Ken was united in marriage to Patricia Dohmen at St. Bernard Catholic Church. The couple lived in Cornlea until moving to Humphrey in 2003.
Ken was a hard-working family man. He took several classes in welding, electrical, etc., and became a jack of all trades, who everyone called when they needed something fixed. He farmed, raised livestock, fishing, and taking trips to Las Vegas. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Daughter – Carolyn (Branton) Kinnan of Omaha, NE
