Kelly (Westring) Vanness, 50, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Private family services will be held with interment in Valley View Cemetery in Genoa, Nebraska.

Kelly was born October 28, 1972, in Norfolk, Nebraska, to Kenneth and Sharon (Jarecki) Westring. She graduated from Genoa High School and earned her Masters in Counseling from Wayne State College. Kelly enjoyed going to country music concerts with her sisters, but her special love in life was her children. She enjoyed going to all their events and spoiling them rotten. This spoiling continued when the grandchildren began to arrive, and she loved her three grandchildren dearly.
