Keith Krings, 74, of Humphrey, Nebraska, died Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at 10:30 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey with Fr. Bill Cremers celebrating the Mass.  Private family interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a 5:00 PM rosary.  Visitation will continue on Monday from 9:30 AM until service time at the church.  Memorials may be directed to those of the family or donors choice.

Keith was born May 10, 1951, in Humphrey, Nebraska, to Felix and Faye (Wemhoff) Krings.  He was raised in rural Platte County; on a farm southwest of Tarnov, Nebraska, along with his 12 siblings.  Keith graduated from Humphrey St. Francis High School in 1969.  He was confident in the fact that the "Class of 69" was the greatest of all time, and if you doubted that, just ask the members of the band Tangerine Vacuum.  After high school, Keith went on to obtain his tool and die certificate from Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska.

Keith was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Janet Sand on January 29, 1972.  They were blessed with three children – Ryan, Michael, and Ashley Krings.

Keith loved everything Flyers and Huskers, along with the Yankees and Packers.  Keith's hobbies included woodworking, golfing and challenging anyone who dared to see who could stand on their head the longest.  This included many victories in the middle of Fremont Street in Las Vegas.  Keith's favorite thing to do was to watch his five grandchildren compete in activities.  His family is at peace with the fact that Keith thoroughly enjoyed his life and time with them.
