Judy Arlene Larrington Seefeld was born on January 30, 1961, to John Jr. and Alice (McGilvrey) Larrington at Gettysburg Memorial Hospital in Gettysburg, South Dakota.  She joined three older siblings, two sisters and an older brother. A year later, and younger brother Daniel was born. They lived on a farm just five miles south of Gettysburg until 1969, at which time the family moved to Columbus, Nebraska.

Judy graduated from Columbus High School in 1979. She married Steven L. Seefeld on September 8, 1979. The couple lived in Norfolk, Cozad, and back in Columbus in 1980, where their three sons were born. Those three sons and her husband were her whole world.

Judy spent her time caring for her family and volunteering for the activities that they were involved with. Judy and Steve were married for 45 years in September of 2024. She had a lifelong love of music books, and she loved to sing. Judy enjoyed baking, crocheting, knitting, and cross stitching. For the past 10 years she made her own greeting cards. Friends and family were the recipients of her "Cards by Jas" cards.  She made and kept many long-time friends.

Always wanting to be older and do what the "big kids" were doing, she once again hurried after them, even into her new life, where her sister Wanda Becker, her brother Mike, her parents, and her grandparents were all waiting for her.

More than anything else, Judy wanted you to know Jesus. To invite him into your heart, and to seek his forgiveness for your sins.
