Joyce Keller, 72, of Humphrey, Nebraska, died Thursday, March 20, 2025, at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 26, at 10:30 AM, at St. Francis Catholic Church with Father Stan Schmit celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM, all at the church. Visitation will continue Wednesday, from 9:30 AM until service time, at the church. Interment will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are suggested as those of family or donor's choice.

Joyce Keller was born August 25, 1952, in Humphrey, Nebraska, to Gerald and Ruth (Klassen) Schumacher.  She attended Holy Family School and graduated from Holy Family High School in Lindsay, Nebraska.  Joyce met the love of her life, Allen Keller, at a dance.  Allen served in the United States military during the Vietnam War and upon returning, he and Joyce were united in marriage on March 3, 1973, at Holy Family Catholic Church.  To this union four children were born.

The couple lived in Columbus for a short time before moving to a farm east of Humphrey.  Joyce worked at Lindsay Manufacturing for several years.   She enjoyed sewing, quilting, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.  She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.  Joyce was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters.

Sisters – Lois (Jim) Gronenthal of Humphrey, NE; Jane (Harry) Kurtenbach of Lindsay,  NE; and Carol (Randy) Heesacker of Denton, NE
