Joyce M. Holtkamp, 83, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.

There will be a public visitation on Wednesday from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home, followed by a private family service.  Private family interment will be in the Columbus Cemetery on Thursday.

Joyce Holtkamp was born January 12, 1941, in Columbus, Nebraska to William and Ella (Fittje) Grotelueschen.  She graduated from Kramer High School and on May 13, 1961, was united in marriage to Melvern Holtkamp.  She was employed by Columbus Community Hospital for 42 years as a nurse aide, messenger, and in supply purchasing until her retirement in 2002.  Joyce enjoyed crocheting, crafts, watching television, and her friends at Westport Apartments where she lived for 11 years, and considered many of them as her extended family.

Nephews - Douglas Means, Russell Dicke, Gerald (Brenda) Dicke all of Columbus, NE
Niece - Jean Bradley of Columbus, NE
