Jerome McLaughlin, 43, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at his home in Columbus.

Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, at Gass Haney Funeral Home.

Jerome John McLaughlin was born on October 22, 1979, in Yankton, South Dakota, to Stephen McLaughlin and Barbara Hood. He attended school in Yankton and Beatrice, Nebraska. He worked in a restaurant and enjoyed cooking. Jerome was a collector of Jack and Jill memorabilia, enjoyed tattooing, and loved his pit bull, Baby.
