Jennifer Lynn Reese, 31 of Columbus, Nebraska died Thursday, July 1, 2004 at the Columbus Community Hospital, Columbus, Nebraska, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 6 at 10:00 AM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home with Rev. Will Sanborn officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, July 5 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Red Cross Blood Bank.

Jennifer was born January 22, 1973 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Connie Reese and Carolyn (Peterson) Allen. She attended Columbus Public Schools and graduated from high school in Chadron, Nebraska after joining the Job Corps. Through her years with the Job Corps she worked in Chadron, then in Ogden, Utah where she was a graphic artist doing work on auto bodies. Her connections then took her to Missouri, Iowa, Florida and finally to Portland, Oregon where she worked as a customer service representative at Nextel Wireless. She returned to Columbus in May, 2004.
