Janet Kay Moody (Fellers), 61, of Belgrade, Nebraska, died Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at CHI St. Francis in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Janet's funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 22 at the United Methodist Church in Genoa, Nebraska, with Pastor Connie Kramer and Pastor Denny Reis officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time, all at the church. Interment will be in Main Cemetery, rural Belgrade, Nebraska.

Janet was born on September 5, 1961, in Columbus Nebraska, to Maurice (Bud) and Eileen Fellers. Janet graduated from St. Edward, Nebraska, in 1979. She enjoyed horseback riding; her favorite was riding horses in the parade. Jan was a little girls softball coach, boxing coach, Girl Scout leader and 4H leader. Janet never passed up a trip to the casino and she always made sure to get her Powerball tickets bought every week. Janet was always ready to have fun and be adventurous, all while drinking a Busch light and smoking a Marlboro light 100. She enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and taking the grandkids to the turtle races. Janet was there at the blink of an eye to help everyone she crossed paths with. Her family and friends were her richest treasures.

Survivors include daughter Jeni (Kyle) Litz, of Monroe, Ne; son Jesse (Ashley) Robinson, of Genoa, Ne; daughter Tina (Eric) Macdonald, of Genoa, Ne; ex-husband Arlen Moody of Genoa; brother Jeff (Vicki) Fellers, of Palmer, Ne; sister Jackie Riley of Grand Island, Ne; sister-in-law Darlene (Dan) Schleich; 18 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; Significant other Sam Rutten & his son Fred (Carol) Rutten & children; adopted sister Kathy Pearman, of Central City, Ne; and 2 fur babies, Shilow and Cindy Lou.

Preceded in death by parents Maurice (Bud) & Eileen Fellers; brother John Fellers; brother James (Jim) Fellers; grandparents Aurthur D. & Inez Fellers; grandparents Edward & Grace Hagmann.
