James (Jim) Harold Korth, 76, of Lindsay, Nebraska, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 25 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindsay with Fr. Dan Wittrock celebrating the Mass.  Interment will be in the parish cemetery with military honors.  Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a 7:00 PM vigil service, all at the church.  Visitation continues at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until Mass time.  Memorials are suggested as those of the family or donor's choice.

Jim was born on June 20,1948 in Sterling, Colorado, to Harold and Bernice (Stenger) Korth. In 1955, the family  moved to Lindsay, Nebraska where Jim attended school at St. Bernard and graduated from Lindsay Holy Family School in 1967. Jim attended the Universal Trade School in Omaha and enlisted in the United States Army Reserves in 1968. Jim worked for Lindsay Manufacturing where he put up and serviced Zimmatic pivots. While there, he met the love of his life, Kathy Henn. They were united in marriage on May 5, 1973, in Petersburg, NE.

Jim and Kathy made their home in Lindsay where they raised their six children. He began Korth Sales and Service where he built, sold, and serviced power washers. He later worked at Minnesota Corn Processors and BD Medical until he retired in 2017. Throughout his life his hobbies included hunting, fishing, and Husker football. He also enjoyed playing, coaching, and watching baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. Jim was a man of faith and cherished being a husband, father, and grandpa.
