Jalee M. Dotson, 93, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Emerald Nursing and Rehab of Columbus.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11, at 10:30 AM, at St. Luke's UCC with Rev. Adam Lassen officiating.  Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Columbus.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, at Gass Haney Funeral Home and continue Friday from 9:30 AM until service time at the church.  There will be a family prayer service on Friday at 10:15 AM, at the church.  Memorials are suggested as those of family choice.

Jalee was born March 13, 1931, in Platte County, Nebraska, to Walter and Rose (Johansen) Boss.  She attended Platte County grade school and graduated from Monroe High School.  Jalee went to beauty college after high school and was a beautician for several years.  She retired from Becton-Dickinson after 35 years of employment.  Jalee was united in marriage to Fred Dotson.  She enjoyed her flower gardens and spending time with her family.  Jalee was a faithful member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ.

Grandchildren – Jamie (Pat) Fiala, Jessica (Kelly) Schultz, Audrey (Jon) Ziegler, and Collyn (Jamie) Curtis
