Gordon Fendrick

Gordon L. Fendrick, 74, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Wednesday April 15, 2026, at Emerald Nursing and Rehabilitation in Columbus.

Private family graveside services will be held at the Schuyler Cemetery, Schuyler, Nebraska.

Gordon was born on June 19, 1951, to Vincent and Ruth (Bukacek) Fendrick in Columbus, Nebraska. Gordon grew up and was raised in the Columbus area. He attended grade school in Duncan and attended and graduated from Lakeview High School in Columbus.

Gordon worked for a short time at Douglas and Lomason in Columbus, worked in autobody, and spent over 30 years farming. Gordon enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He enjoyed mowing and gardening.  Gordon was a past member of the Eagles Club in Schuyler, as well as the Knights of Columbus.

Grandchildren – Asher and Avah
Brother – Don (Jeanne) Fendrick of Springfield, MO
Sister – Diane (Everett) Rothfuss of Loveland, CO
Sister – Linda Saalfeld of Lincoln, NE
