Elaine Blaser, 90, of Columbus, Nebraska, went to heaven on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31, at 10:30 AM, at Gass Haney Funeral Home, with Rev. Patrick Sparling officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM and continue Saturday, from 9:30 AM until service time, all at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church or School. In lieu of flowers, stones, plaques, etc., memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church or School.

Elaine Doris Blaser was born on April 15, 1935, to Theodore and Eileen (Gottberg) Bredehoft in Columbus, Nebraska.  Elaine grew up in rural Columbus and graduated from Kramer High School in 1952. On January 25, 1956, Elaine was united in marriage to Kenny Blaser. During her working career, she was employed by Consumer's Public Power District and Wal-Mart.

Elaine was a homemaker, helped out on the farm, and loved watching Kaitlyn. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and decorating cakes for family and friends on special occasions.

Granddaughter: Kaitlyn (Jacques) Arnoult of Auburn, WA
Sister: Norma Schell of Vancouver, WA
