Doris Blair, 88, of Springfield, Missouri, died Sunday, February 23, 2025 at BirchPointe Nursing and Rehab in Springfield.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Gass Haney Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Escen officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and continue on Friday from 9:00 AM until service time, all at Gass Haney Funeral Home. Burial will be in Columbus Cemetery. Dois Blair was born on January 15, 1937, on the family farm near Platte Center, Nebraska, to Gustave and Martha (Treines) Lange. Doris grew up in and got her schooling in Platte County. Doris married Harold Hulsebus, and together they had five children.  Doris and Harold later divorced. On April 20, 1996, Doris was united in marriage to Harold Blair.

Doris was a member of Highland Park Church prior to her marriage to Harold Blair, at which time she relocated to Norfolk, NE and was a member of Northern Heights Church.  She loved to sing and play the organ and piano.  Doris truly lived to serve the lord, which was a testimony to all by the way she shared her love with others.  Doris knew no strangers. She had a good sense of humor and was always a good sport.

Doris was an excellent cook and loved to bake.
