February 1, 1944 – November 18, 2024
Donna Rose Feagin, 80, formerly of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, went to be with her Lord November 18th, 2024 after a short stay at Brookestone Acres in Columbus, Nebraska. She was born February 1st, 1944 to John and Betty Minch in Bridgeport, Nebraska. She lived most of her life in Scottsbluff alongside her husband, Clyde, and their beloved dog, Shania.
High school sweethearts, Donna and Clyde married on November 2nd, 1963 after Donna graduated high school from Scottsbluff High School in 1962. They welcomed their first son, Derek, on October 29th, 1967 and their second son, David, on December 26th, 1970, who passed away shortly after. Donna loved to cross-stitch and create greeting cards, and was an avid reader. She spent much of her time reading short novels and devotional materials. She loved her Savior, her family, and her many friends. She was affectionately known as 'GG' by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Donna was a compassionate friend and gladly gave of both her time and resources. She was a dedicated member of The New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene in Scottsbluff until she moved to Columbus in late 2021 to be closer to family. She attended Highland Park Church up until her death.
Donna is survived by her son, Derek Feagin and his wife Tammy, and their children; Sarah Schacher, Shannon (Mike Van Beek), Denon Feagin, Becca (Alex Whited), Rachel Feagin, and great grandchildren; Indy, Elinor, and Milo, nephew; Britt Minch, and several other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; John Minch, Betty (Wendell) Prince, sister; Sandra Minch, brother and sister-in-law; Rick (Judy) Minch, nephew; Cory Minch, husband; Clyde Feagin, and infant son; David Feagin.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22 at 11:00 AM, at Highland Park Church with Pastor Mike Escen officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Highland Park Church Royal Family Kids Program. Memorials may be directed to Highland Park Church for Royal Family Kids Camp.
