Delores Toman, 97, of Clarkson, Nebraska, died Friday, October 11, 2024, at the Clarkson Care Center in Clarkson.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 10:30 AM, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Leigh, Nebraska, with PMA Ron Lofgren officiating.  Interment will be in Clarkson National Cemetery, Clarkson, Nebraska.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until service time at the church in Leigh.  Lunch will be served at the New Zion Presbyterian Church in Clarkson after the interment.  Memorials are suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church.

Delores was born on October 24, 1926, near Leigh, Nebraska to Robert J. and Freida (Ehlers) Sayers. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church and on November 16, 1948, Delores was united in marriage to Frank Toman at St. John's Lutheran Church.  They made their home in Clarkson.  Delores was a homemaker and she and Frank raised two daughters, Karen and Kathleen.  Delores was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Delores was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.  In her spare time, she enjoyed reading cook books, doing embroidery, working word finds, colorscapes, going on winter trips with Frank to Arizona, visiting with her grandchildren, and going downtown for coffee to visit with friends.
