David Aguilar, 37, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Bryan Medical Center East Campus in Lincoln, Nebraska.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 2, at 12:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home with Pastor Josefina Vasquez officiating.

David Aguilar was born on September 29, 1984, in Los Angeles, California to Felix Aguilar and Lucia Cervantes. He grew up in California and his family moved to Columbus while he was in high school. David graduated from Columbus High School in 2002. He moved back to California and attended college, earning a medical assistant degree and was most recently working as a pharmacy tech for Walgreens. David enjoyed watching sports, especially boxing.
