Dale Gertsch, 65, of Monroe, Nebraska, died Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Brookestone Acres in Columbus, Nebraska.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 14, at the First Church of Monroe. Visitation will be on Friday, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home and continue Saturday, from 9:30 AM until service time at the church. Private interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery.

Dale Allen Gertsch was born on March 14, 1960, in Genoa, Nebraska, to Melvyn and Loretta (Filbert) Gertsch. Dale grew up in Monroe and graduated from high school in 1978. For many years, he did home building and other construction. He also worked at Miba Industrial Bearings. In October of 2013, Dale was united in marriage to Jackie Meyer in Monroe. Dale enjoyed going to concerts and traveling.
