Cynthia Darling, 73, of Genoa, Nebraska, died Saturday, October 14, 2023, at her home in Genoa.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Genoa with Fr. Bill  L'Heureux celebrating the Mass.  Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00 AM until service time, at the church.  Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery, Genoa.  Memorials may be directed to those of the family or donor's choice.

Cynthia Darling was born May 6, 1950, in Genoa, Nebraska, to Leo and Frances (Egnoski) Koziol.  She attended Genoa Public School and graduated from Genoa High School.  Cindy was united in marriage to David Darling, and to this union two children were born – Crysty and Brad.  Cindy and David later divorced.

Cindy worked at the Genoa Medical Clinic the majority of her life.  She had a passion for cooking, and enjoyed opening her home to many, creating meals for all who would stop to visit and have a beer.  Cindy especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.   She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Sister – Bonnie Taylor of Hastings, NE
