Christine Nelson, 50, of Columbus, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2019, surrounded by her family, at her home in Columbus.

Christine was born March 27, 1969, in Dover, New Jersey.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, at the Columbus Berean Church with Pastor Justin Bebb officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at Gass Haney Funeral Home and from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday at the church with a family prayer service at 10:45 a.m. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

She is survived by her sons, Hayden Peter and Adam Alexander Nelson; parents, Peter and Judy Licht; brother, Peter (Judy) Licht Jr.; aunts, Lee, Shirley, Debbie, Beverly and Kathy; uncles, Jim, L. Mitchell, and Rich; nephews: Jacob and Michael; niece: Emily; two step-daughters; and one step-son.
