Cheryl Ann Reed, 65, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Friday, April 11, 2025, at her home in Columbus.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, April 17 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gass Haney Funeral Home.  Private family interment at a later date.

Cheryl was born on July 29, 1959, to Kenneth and Erma (Hardwick) Myers, in Auburn, Nebraska.  Cheryl grew up on a farm near Auburn and graduated from Auburn High School.  Cheryl attended college at Peru State College.  On May 5, 1979, Cheryl was united in marriage to Bradley Beasley.  To this union four children were born, Bryan, Kyle, Kevin, and Sarah.  Cheryl was a homemaker while her children were young.  Cheryl later worked at Super Saver, Casey's General Store, and Hy-Vee all in Columbus.

On June 21, 2009, Cheryl married Steve Reed at a ceremony at Pawnee Park in Columbus.  Cheryl enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband.

Cheryl's biggest joy in life came from her children and grandchildren.

Sister – Janet Workman
Sister – Joyce (Jim) Dykstra
Brother – Jim (Jana) Myers
Several nieces and nephews
