Bonnie Grills, 70, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Emerald Nursing & Rehab in Columbus.

Private family interment will be held in Columbus Cemetery.

Bonnie Jean Grills was born on December 15, 1954, in Redding, California, to Harvey and Julia (Wells) Grills. She grew up and attended school in Alaska. She attended college in Minnesota and moved to Columbus in 2000, to be close to family. She worked at Apogee, several restaurants in Columbus, and as a dietary aide at various nursing homes in the area. Bonnie enjoyed sewing, making dream catchers and homemade jewelry, and going to car shows with her grandchildren.

Son: Joseph (Amanda) Grills of Marshfield, WI
Daughter: Shawndesta (Brian) Nichols of Columbus, NE
Eight grandchildren
Sister-in-law: Bualoy Phasukhan of Thailand
