Arthur "Ike" Eyman Anderson III, 85, of Genoa, Nebraska, died Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Genoa LTC.

The funeral service will be September 26, 2025, at 10:30 AM, at Augustana Lutheran Church in Genoa with Pastor Adam Klinker officiating.  Interment with military honors will be in Valley View Cemetery in Genoa.  Visitation will be on September 25 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on September 26 from 9:30 AM until service time, all at the church.  Memorials are suggested to the church.

Arthur Eyman Anderson III, "Ike", was born December 13, 1939, in Genoa, Nebraska, to Arthur and Cressa (Hutcheson) Anderson.  He graduated from Genoa High School and attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in agriculture with an emphasis in Dairy Science and was a member of Alpha Gamma Sigma Fraternity.  He farmed and was involved in agriculture sales.  On August 20, 1966, Ike was united in marriage to Dorothy Cromwell.  They were blessed with three children – Craig, Ellen, and Susan.

Ike served his nation as a member of the Army National Guard from 1966 – 1974.  He was involved in the Genoa Lions Club and American Legion.  Ike served on several boards throughout the years including the hospital, school, church, airport, ESU #11, Nance County 4-H council, was a 4-H leader and a coach for Special Olympics. He enjoyed going hunting and fishing with friends and family and was an avid Husker sports fan.  Ike was a family man who centered his life on the saving grace of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and instilled that faith in his family.

Brother-in-laws -Gayle (Vera) Cromwell of Columbus, NE; John (Janell) Cromwell of Columbus, NE and Ken (Vicki) Cromwell of Genoa, NE
Sister-in-law – Connie Cromwell of Norfolk, NE
